"Can a meditator be a rebel?
A lot of friends have asked me how a meditator can be a revolutionary, and take a stand? when he is supposed to be this peaceful guy in a lotus pose... How can someone who is supposed to ooze serenity be an agitator?
Here's my take- a meditator is the greatest rebel, for only he has the courage to foray into the unknown, unseen... Thus, there is no dichotomy between a meditator & agitator... agitate, but without getting agitated... Fight, but FOR something worthwhile- peace, equity, justice; not AGAINST something... Stand up & defy-but ideologies & vested interests; not individuals... March on, but with each others; not against each other..."
